Hello Kerbonauts!

I have the best challenge yet for you Kerbnerds! :D

Your Mission:

Reach a stable (I don\'t care how eccentric, as long as it stays there :-X) orbit.

The Catch:

YOU\'RE BLIND! 8)

You must complete your mission with a blindfold of any kind (as long as its effective ;))

You must prove your point with a video of you, with a Pic in Pic of you blindfolded.

You may build your rocket in the land of the seeing, but as soon as you press \'Launch\', it\'s blind time.

Good luck, and try not to kill your Kerbs! :D

Hm, I think you can easily build a rocket that reaches escape velocity and with some SAS you wouldn\'t need any keycontrols...

THEN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Why does everyone say how easy it is, but then wimp out of it?

Because it ist not worth the effort. A video showing yourself while the rocket is flying straight upwards with no other requirements as pressing the space button? There are people without webcams and other people who don\'t want to show themselves...

command pod, SAS, 2x fuel tanks, engine, seperator, tricoupler, 9x fuel tanks, 3x engines -> just stock parts and the design is not most effcient but it works for reaching escape velocity. There is no challenge in here.

Look at other challenges and think of something more difficult and creative and the people will try it. For example in this challenge you could demand that no SAS should be used, only boosters or single stage design.

If you need a challenge, try my 'Stealthy Approach' challenge.

Cut out the escape velocity part of the challenge and leave it as any eccentric orbit - that makes it a better challenge.

That way you can\'t just fly straight up with a few SAS modules.

Think I may have a ship that manages this, I\'m going to test it.

If you do it, you may have my first born.

For being the first person to ATTEMPT this challenge, instead of being a *Jeb* about it.

DocEvo built a rocket that could hit orbit with no control input other than spacebar, as I recall, but I\'m pretty sure he was watching the screen at the time. I might give this a shot sometime, but you\'d have only my word that I wasn\'t peeking. :P

Wasn\'t that one built in .8-.9something? He\'d have to rebuild it again.

However, you may want to look at this thread for ways to remove stages without input:
