Testing Jeb's new flying car!

Recommended Posts

Well, the future promised Jeb a flying car, and Jensen here drew the short straw to make good on it.

In flight mode it uses aircraft wheels for stability

Simply raise them to go into rover mode.

The outrigger wheels provide protection for the wings, and make it almost impossible to roll.

Jensen flies it over to the island airstrip for some terrain testing.

It turns out the chair was not equipped with a seatbelt, and Jensen flew off during the landing! The helpful probe core returns to pick him up.

It scales the highest mountains with ease.

Unfortunately, it has a problem with unwanted lift. Going over a ridge at 30m/s is enough to lift a wing, causing the outrigger to catch and pivot the rover, spinning it out of control. It stayed in one piece and landed, rolling back down the hill. Jensen, not being Jeb, decided to apply the brakes rather than ride it out, which resulted in the rover flipping end over end and disintegrating. Poor Jeb will never have his flying car at this rate.
