I made this flag design for the bronies of the community! Enjoy!

Granted Pink does not actuality exist in the natural color spectrum and Cupcakes and rainbows are always good, especially if your eating cupcakes at a picnic in view of a rainbow. That would be epic.

Exactly! I'm a Brony (I hate the term Pegasister... just seems really sexist to me) and I'm very much proud of the fandom I'm a member of (despite Hasbro ****ing all the loyal fans over recently.....)

I never said Bronism was silly. In fact, My Little Pony is certainly alot better than some of the schlock companies like Cartoon Network put out. Rather, it what you said was silly. Halo is not silly. It isn't exactly perfect (seriously, why does Reach's singleplayer suck so much) but like My Little Pony, it's alot better than, oh lets see, Wolfenstein, but not as good as New Vegas​.

MLP was meant for girls under the age of 10 back in 2007-ish

It was not meant for 13+ year old boys/men in 2013

In my honest opinion, MLP should have been canceled and ground into the dust years ago, so that it wouldn't result in the downgraded maturity of teenage boys.

And also, why be scared of chobit-389?

He (yes, he) was banned for good, so he won't bother you. Also, if you really mull over his art, its really just manga people painted green. Not exactly what a Kerbal looks like from my point of view. In the end, chobit-389 was just an overly critical and extremely over reactive poster who had it coming.

Your entire argument is folly, people can like what they like and if MLP is liked by someone, that's entirely their thing. It does not effect you (no matter how much you whine and moan about someone publicly announcing that they like MLP) and neither does this thread. You see it's for bronies and if you are not a brony and do not like the show, what in Hawking's name are you even doing here? Do you think your "mighty words of wisdom" which basically just blatantly insult everyone who's ever watched and liked MLP will ever turn someone from the show and make them see what you percieve as "the truth"? Heck no! It'll just make them laugh at you or it will make some of them pissy and they will tell you to bug off if you don't like the same thing they do.

And with that sentance you have just proven how the polar opposite is true.

The thing about maturity is that when you're mature, you don't suddenly stop liking the things you like, they just stop being the most important things in life (because their place is taken by things such as job security, rent money et cetera). A lot of people who are fans are entirely adult and mature personalities, they just happen to like a thing and are not afraid of showing it.

Also, "MLP has contributed nothing to society and has proven how mature or immature some people are"? You, my dear sir, have never heard of the charity events the brony fandom organises in order to spread the virtues the show promotes. They give things to charity, help in soup kitchens, make donations and just all around volunteer to do good deeds. If that is not a way in which the mere presence of MLP has contributed at least something to society, then I don't know what is. The only people it has proven immature is the masses of people who can't shut up about how much they hate everything MLP related and who constantly whine about how bad it is instead of doing the mature thing, which is acknowledging that they don't like the show and moving on with their life.

As for the creepiness factor, a lot of adults like Adventure Time, the Transformers, TMNT and Kirby, all of which have been developed for and marketed to children, but are still widely enjoyed by children and adults everywhere. So, no, I do not find it creepy that a group of full-grown men like a thing originally meant for children. If you are going to make a comment on pornography, I shall remind you in advance about the infamous rule 34, which states that mere existance of the item dictates the coexistance of pornography of that item. No exceptions.

The thing about MLP leaking over to other things that were "completely fine without it" are mostly limited only to bronies who happen to enjoy that thing as well and also has no effect on anyone but them. Not to mention that joining two items of popular culture has been a mainstay of popular culture for a long before MLP came around. Look at all the things Star Trek has spread into with fan fictions, drawings et all over the last half a century of its existance. Take another look at comic books wherein crossovers are incredibly popular and happen incredibly often, to much joy or dismay of some of the fans.

As for you taking comfort that you have a higher IQ level and are more mature than your average brony: Just by claiming that you are smarter than a person who takes no shame in enjoying what they like you have proven that you are, in fact, not mature at all. The fact that you have a higher IQ has been denied by your obvious lack of research into the topic and the tendency to make grand, sweeping statements, most of which are incorrect.

I'm disgusted by the macho mentality and the advertising of gore and all that stupid crap that's the industry trying to label as "male", but not only I find bronies a bit odd, but exactly "people with sanity problems".

The cartoon is tailored for small children and is tailored for small female children, where "female" stands for the gender, not the sex.

Basically, the stuff is made for the stereotype of little girls. The only ones who are stereotyping here is the industry that made the cartoon.

I find adult males engaging in this stuff basically childlish. The female stuff is just an additional weirdo factor and a rather large one.

I do not hate true bronies (to clarify, there are some of them who do it ironically), but nobody can convince me they are sane. It's a problem with physchological development as you grow up.

I honestly tried to watch it and I was baffled by it. This or any girly cartoon, doesn't matter.
