Probe Staging not working in Space?

I have successfully gotten a probe into orbit but now the staging does not seem to be working. the rockomax 24-77 are not responding to thurst imputs and they are attached to a FL-T200 Fuel Tank with more than enough fuel. Further more the seperation stage is not functioning.

What did I do wrong?

How much power does the probe have available? (If it doesn't have any, you may want to bring an RTG or some solar panels next time)

You may have to use the bracket keys to switch vessels temporarily– I noticed that I had some control issues after docking two probes together. However, pictures would help confirm or deny the fact that it was a lack of power.

Haha happened to me too when I was new to the game. The thing is that the engines produce enough electrical power for the probe to run during ascent but in orbit, your engines don't run...

I actually once had a probe die on the launchpad because I was too busy fiddling with the display settings on a mod and had forgotten to use any batteries, solar panels, or launch clamps. So yeah, we've all done something like that at least once.

I remember the first time I did this, I forgot to open the solar panels on an orbital satellite.

I had to rendezvous with it and get a Kerbal out to open them manually.
