What's everyone's opinion on the German biplanes

Biplanes are very manoeuvrable but slow so good in a turn battle but useless trying to catch up with faster monoplanes.

Which nation should I start next? America, Russia or Japan?

Maneuverability-wise, they're on par with all the other reserve biplanes. I believe they have the weakest guns, however.

Depends on your play-style. American planes are geared more towards boom and zoom, Japanese planes are very nimble and agile, and Russia is sort of in between.

Also, if you do go with America, keep in mind that the three reserve planes are not the same. The blue and yellow Peashooter only has .30 cal machine guns, whereas the other two also have .50 cals. This makes a particularly big difference with ground targets.

Soviet planes were built sturdy, yes. Their design philosophy was heavy armour and big guns, often said simply add "flying tanks". In the game, they're fairly durable, and heavily armed, but excel at strafing ground attacks.

Been going Russian, Level 6 in it and I bought some Golden Eagles. and got a P-63. No regrets, amazing plane and amazing plane in real life.

And you're going to say you could have gone American, but I like Russian planes.
