So... Has Anyone Else Seen This?

I was looking through some KSP files, and I seem to of found an extra, unused resource in the resources .CFG

If anyone wants a look, the resources file can be accessed through:

GameData/Squad/Resouces/ResourcesGeneric.cfg

It's the last one, right after Monopropellent... Its called "Testium"

Do you guys think this is some early testing of the mine-able resources coming in the next few updates?

Feel free to comment if you know anything about it, I'd really like to know.

There is a good chance that it is a test for the resource system. I find it amusing that the devs would make it testium.

seeing that the devs have been talking a lot about minable resouces lately, it is most likely a test of the feature(P.S. if anyone can figure out how to obtain it, Props to you)

It is almost certainly a test, as it wasn't there in 0.19.1, and it being called testium and all that.

Why is it the only one with color? I asume it's a relative RGB, making it purple-ish.

I suspect this is the new resource for nuclear engines, which can only be found on eve, which is purple... explaining why testium is purple....

I think it's a test resource (duh) for the knowledge base/detector or other functionality of the resource mining system. Those do have colors assigned to them on the resource pie chart last time we saw it.

I remember seeing screenshots of how the new resource detection system would look. On the surface of Kerbin were large areas in varying intensities of purple. I bet that testium was the resource used to create these tests on Kerbin.
