One Giant Leap for Kerbalkind

After sending an orbiter around Minmus, the JSEA (Jebediah Space Exploration Agency) decided it was time to put a Kerbal on the ground there.

Venerable Bill Kerman was chosen for the task of being the first Kerbal in history to accomplish this deed unequaled in the history of Kerbin.

After a rocky start (Jeb as usual had created a rocket that looked better than it flew), Bill made orbit and prepared (after a long wait for his nerves to settle) to depart for distant Minmus.

((no screenshots here, forgot))

After arriving in a polar orbit around the little dirty snowball, Bill carefully planned his descent to touch down on the steepest slope he could find.

After some trial and error with the controls, and a lot of bumping over the surface, he finally made it down in one piece on a spot not far from the north pole.

Bill set out to stretch his legs, relieving the cramps that had plagued him for hours.

As planned, he then planted the JSEA flag and made some pictures for posterity.

Strangely, this rocket fails to work in 0.20, in 0.19 it could easily reach orbit (yes, he'd been sitting there for a few weeks).

In 0.20 it just lacks the TWR to even get out of the lower atmosphere (yes, the lander stage is overpowered, original plan had it go to the Mun and only drop the nervas during final descent).
