I know O.O I never thought this thread would reach this point. Makes going through submissions a little difficult, though :l

In all honesty, I'm probably going to submit my stuff to Macey via Email anyway... I'm just here because I like talking to you guys! :D

Submission(WIP)

Company name:2.0

Company Bio : Kerbals in 2.0 are from all the ships that spirtwolf has defeated. Now these Kerbals have formed there own company to help spirtwolf defend KSC and kerbin.(I suck at making up stories)

the MML (mobile missile launcher) VV-1x

1-4 fires the missile groups

10 toggles larders and solar panes.

to fire first brake. then press g then ether space to fire all or 1-4

range is 14.7 km in"smart mode"( ie with sas on)

Only one ship has extensive action grouping, and that's the Errant Venture, which is on here somewhere.

Got some issues trying to get your kerbylon to layhte

the biggest issue is that the structure cannot withstand the forces of aerobraking, a lot of this going onAaR6GPV.png

additionally the ship does not have enough fuel to decelerate into layhte orbit,

this is mostly because of an abundance of excess and redundant parts

also, just a note, if you want to improve the design, the RCS design on the Ship is very sub optimal, there are too many RCS Blocks and there placement offset from the cardinal axis uses twice as much fuel as normal for half the effect as RCS fires at 45 degrees to the direction of travel canceling out half the thrust as the RCS on the opposite side of the ship fires in the opposite direction

anyways, sorry, but i cant get her to layhte or jool for you, a redesign might be advised

some things I would say for the 3x

-so many fuel lines.

-put some armor on.exposed tanks=easy to destroy.

-Asas would help.

After testing I agree with Sanity Perhaps sending the two halves separatley?

Well, we've decided that Superdreadnaughts are of no use in the game. they are too big, too laggy, and when built they cause weird bugs, and armor like is not registered as parts, it's kinda just there...... anyone have this problem?

Right now I have such a redesign in process.

Primairily, I've reduced the crew section down to a mere 35 kerbals from it's 53 before.

Additionally, it's been made a LOT more compact, with superfluous struts removed from it's structure, making it a lot more 'stout' looking.

Finally, the Fuel section has been given Mainsail engines. Because screw half an hour long burn times.

Both pieces are intended to go out seperately. Is 4800 delta-v enough?

The crew section will need a fuel car.

Allegiance- To be decided

Part count- 144 with space tug for rearment

Operation Manual

1- Toggle missile/tug RCS thrusters

2 to 5- Released missiles, 2 for each key (1 on each side)

Note: Disable RCS tanks for missile/probe so you don't drain them when maneuvering.

http://imgur.com/a/RqSwn (had to refuel it all with a tanker once it was in orbit, ran out of RCS. RCS was used heavily at the last stage in combination with the atomic rockets.

Huh.

The Errand still has an SSTO variant that I need to develop, but the damned thing is... tricky. I have two tries at it. The first is one that uses an array of Jets to help the rocket get started, and the other just uses radial engines to boost it. Not sure which one I'll try to send out. Probably the one with the radials. That one seems to have the most chance of succeeding...

Anyway, that craft seems to be like a military version of what the Errand is trying to do. :P

Did you develop that before or after I did the Errand?

Around the same time just never mentioned it I stopped developing it for a while then came back to it when I needed to start rescuing kerbals from duna.SSTO would be cool.I'm going to make it a shuttle so it may take a while.

where did you but the zeon gas for the ion engines? (could you post the .craft file?)

and I put no armor on because it is supposed to be a light scramble interceptor...(LSI)
