Floor 1670-Pickle jars are jumping out the window.

You walk up three steps and find an elevator. You open the door, reveling more stairs.

Floor 1777: You learn that you actually skipped 5 floors, and that you were on floor 1670 two times even though you climbed the stairs up each time. You don't question that, since you're probably not surprised anymore after what happened on all the previous floors.

Floor 1778: You find another empty room, and realize you skipped 100 floors. You question who designed this building.

1782:  Nasty, shimmering patches of air float along the stairwells in this odd place. Strange lights sometimes dance in attendance. Far-off places can be glimpsed. Don't walk through these. There are worse places than this bizzare edifice.

1784:  You stand within a hall of statues. Each is massive, much larger than life, as if together they represent a race of giants. There are long-dead kings and queens, armoured soldiers and cloaked clergy. Your footsteps echo: this place must be as big as ten cathedrals.

The marble giants stand above their own tombs. Some of these huge sarcophagi are empty. The lid of one has been pushed aside. You walk over to it. On the base of the statue are carved the words "Continue upward".

You take to the stairwell yet again...
