F.A.O All Modders.

Recommended Posts

I'd just like to take a minute to thank you all.

If you're a modder for this game you are selflesly giving your time and skill in order for others (like myself) to enjoy this fantasic game even more.

I myself posess no 3d skill (i once made a box in Sketchup) and to see the complex geometry that goes into some of these models that you create is just inspirational.

Aswell as the modders that create parts, there is also some very skilled people who create pluggins for example (Mechjeb and mapsat). I cannot begin to fathom the amount of code that goes into writing these programs, again, i tip my hat to you.

I'df just like to express my gratitude to you all again for your high level of skill and hard work and i look forward to trying out your new creations.

Thank you.

Dan.

I haven't made a mod in KSP, but I have done a little bit of 3D modelling and sucked horrifically at it... and that looks like the easy part of mod making! They have to make sure everything works exactly the way it's supposed to and that the wheels spin correctly and things can fold away and it's all just crazy. Don't even get me started on how difficult plugins must be! Mod makers, we salute you.

Forced to agree and not just about the work load or even the skill involved, but the innovation and creative outpouring, new ideas and concepts that the devs never intended but still enhance the game in so many ways.. just mind blowing

Honestly, I live on the opposite end of the spectrum; ideas are not my strongest suit, implementation is.

Given an idea, I can come up with a way to implement it... usually.

As I learn more and more about KSP's API (as well as unity), it becomes easier to expand upon ideas and stuff.

yes, thank you. And please share your gifts.

I have created mods for a number of games but nothing as yet for KSP. I'm still at this time working around the Unity engine and how to connect it to KSP.
