[Showcase] Replica Craft thread!

Recommended Posts

Hi community! Tried my best with the first replica of an Aircraft: It's a B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber "Inspirated" one wing Aircraft Replica! Needs some tweaks but this is the first model, i'll continue to work on that model to improve and make it more accurate!

Cheers!

I think we all can agree, this thread is pretty dead. Therefore, if I have your permission, Mr. Pseudonym, I'd like to (with your contribution) recreate the thread, in a V2 thread, going under the same name.

Permission Granted. Continue with your business...

I'd just like to say that wow has it been a long time since I've been here.

Wow has it been a long time since I've played KSP. Years, in fact.

Here are all of my replicas for 1.0.2 so far (all 100% stock)

McDonnell Douglas F4 Phantom II

zjngVLU.jpg

(Earlier cockpit design in video)

Description:

This F4 Phantom is capable of supersonic speeds (up to and over 1000m/s) as well as having 4 working stock missiles which are controllable if you want to switch to them for a guided attack and 54 bombs in its bomb bay which fire 6 at a time, the plane is also flyable without using SAS control, what more could you ask for when trying to blow something up?

(Disclaimer: bombs may only scratch buildings, warranty void if launched)

Flight instructions

On launch hit the SAS, throttle up to 100% and let it take off by itself, once in the air have fun!

:D

Action groups:

1: Toggle engines

2: Toggle "after burners"

3: Toggle bay doors

Space bar order:

Missiles fire first one at a time followed by bombs 6 at a time.

:)

Cost:

62,592

Part count:

For the cluster bombs simply hit space bar to your hearts content with the bay doors open.
