What would you do if a ksp rocket landed in your backyard? (with a kerbal inside)

But they aren't. The MK1 pod is 1.75 meters wide. A kerbal (if EVA'd) is roughly equal to the size of it. In the IVA view, the Kerbal takes up almost all the space in the pod.

Ok, well you're still ignoring the first part of my comment. I like to think of them being that size. "You pray to your Jesus, I'll pray to the baby Jesus cause I like him the best." lol.

I would put him in a basket on the front of a bicycle and head for the nearest cliff. :)

maybe offer him some M&Ms first

lol :)

I'd make sure my dog didn't think he was some kind of chewable toy first, then i'd shake hands, offer him/her/it some peppermint tea, and then try get them to take off again as quickly as possible, i wouldn't want them captured and tested on.

Well I'd see if I could communicate with it first. I've got a little spanish, running it backwards sounds hard though.

If I can communicate ask how much delta-v they've got, as they likely didn't account for earth's atmo drag.

If they've got enough to get to orbit, back down again, and back to orbit, well then I'll see if I can wedge my tall self into their pod, with my brother's scuba gear as kerbals don't seem to breathe, and ask them to take me around the planet.

If they brought a hitchhiker pod I could sit in there if I can squeeze through the door.

I like to think of Kerbals as being the size of a Sackboy, so I would take the Kerbal and put in a hamster cage, complete with exercise wheel and that cool tubing that you can have go everywhere, and then hang the rocket from my ceiling with fishing line.

There are many resonable sizes.

1. They are the size of sackboy and their planet is a very small moon.

2. They are 1/3 the size of humans and their planet is the size of the moon.

3. They are 1/2 the size of humans, and their planet is the size of mars.

4. they are the size of humans, and their planet is the size of earth.

5. They are more than 10x the size of humans, and their planet is the size of earth: explaning why their planet seems so small.

The rockets aren't that small, the smallest manned parts are more than a meter in diameter! Or do you own a museum? o.O

Probably try to incorporate him into human society and go on tours around the world, letting people get his autograph and that sort of thing.

Kerbal Meters could be different than human meters.
