you do know that the only flaw in your challenge is that people may use warp nacells and just blast a crater onto Mun?

Must land without breakage. Your choice if you want to limit things to the not-stupidly-overpowered and require full rocket shots, too.

ya know what would be cool if you left a stage on the moon and got back to Kerbin. Then build another rocket and went back and the part was still there. like if you left a stage in space then went back on another mission it was up there

That can\'t be possible, since every launch resets everything. Would be a good one if it is, though.

Wow! Just landed this on the Mun. Stage separation in orbit, followed by a short burn to the munar landscape.

Here my time to the Mun. Can be done faster, was a quite conservative/bad attempt.

5 Hours, 37 Minutes, 35 Seconds.

EDIT:

After a stay of about three minutes, Jeb said '\'tis boring!' and went back to Kerbin, for a total flying time of 8 Hours, 16 Minutes and 55 Seconds.
