Sounds real awesome, but my computer would never run it.

Maybe it does, if it even allows me but if I do I would get less than 1 FPS, if that is possible, on lowest settings.

Will definitely try it when I get a new graphics card. Actually, better choice of words would be "IF I get a new graphics card".

I'd love to build my own rover and do science with it in Mars!

Well, I love the concept and I think it has a lot of potential. But right now its a little tedious at times - and I had to load the landing-sequence with my first medium rover three times before it landed without breaking off wheel. On of it's wheel still got stuck after a few hundred meters :(

I know that feel. I finally sent my first rover to Gale Crater last night, and I landed it 8 times before I quit for the night - two times the skycrane turned 90 degrees and accelerated straight into the ground, the other six times it damaged wheels on landing.

Are the skycranes scripted? You guys say your breaking wheels with rough landings. I've only played a few hours and I have no control over the descent. Haven't built my own though.

Nice game though. It's very pretty. I swear watching the heat shields fall away is damn near euphoric for me. I just saw the HD Curiosity landing. Coolest video on YouTube hands down.

The skycranes are AI I think, as in the future they are going to be controllable.

There is a failure chance associated with part quality, so lower quality parts have a higher chance of randomly crashing, or failing.
