There are some more already (at least two), with the largest being this one: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/28361-Gravity-%28Movie%29But I'm still curious. It's still pretty unrealistic that they deorbit from being hit by an asteroid, though.

How did you manage to pick up the "asteroid" and "they're being orbited because"?

If I see correctly, they were hit by a satellite. Stuff is indeed deorbiting, but we don't know why. The only way to deorbit is to slow down. Maybe they did exactly that... because of reasons?

I've had lots of talk with my friend over this upcoming movie and we agree we really can't tell anything because it's - a teaser. (surprise!)

I just read an article on Gravity in Variety Magazine. Any movie that gets a film industry trade magazine to mention "Kessler Syndrome" expressly in its coverage is a movie I want to see. (The cast, director, writer, and obvious care taken on-set to replicate motion in space also help.)
