how to move forward in a car?

i made a little car and sent it to the mun but the controls won't let me move it forward? it only lets me pitch it up and down. anyone know how to fix this?

Pictures of the rover would probably be helpful. Make sure the brakes are off, I find when I first switch to a rover the brakes are on even if the brake indicator says they are off and they need to be turned on and turned off again before the rover will roll. Also check your power, no electricity == no movement.

Check your brakes, check your electricity, make sure your wheels are spinning, make sure they're touching the ground and make sure you put them on the right way.

Switch to docking mode. That makes WASD translation instead of rotation.

Then make sure the brakes are off, and the wheels aren't busted.

That's usually why my rovers aren't moving. I don't think I'll ever be past the 'noob error' stage.

A good way to control your rover without switching to docking mode, is to go to the option, control and change the rover control to key that are not the same than the plane/rockets keys
