How do I post a Screenshot?

Recommended Posts

I find using a service like imgur.com is the easiest way to get images in a forum. You can create an account (which will allow you to find the link to or delete the picture later), but you don't have to. What you do is you upload your pic to that site, and use the "BBCode" link, the one that has the IMG /IMG at either end. You simply paste this link into a post, and the picture will appear.

Is it possible to do this with images from your steam screen shots?

Screenshots will be saved in a folder called "Screenshots" that is located in your root folder of KSP, which is probably inside the Steam folder. Not 100% sure as I have the Squad direct download version.

This is how I do it from my steam library.

- I go to the library through the browser.

- Click on the image I want (it open it on an overlay)

- top left of that overlay there is a link, I click on it, it give me the same image without overlay.

- then I click on the image itself, it open it as an image.

- then i have the link of the image

- use the tags [noparse]link[/noparse] to put it in the forum

It is a long painful process. if you don't want to upload the image on another place like imgur. (note that the forum have tag to include imgur library).
