Drawing inspiration from http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/47232-Mosquito-Kethane-Drone?highlight=mosquitohttp:// I decided to create my own Mosquito-like drone without the extra mods. The only mod used here is kethane. Dubbed "Mozzie" (can't have two mosquito's now can we) Handles pretty well full or empty.

Wow, that looks awesome!:D

why did you use the aero-spikes for the vtol engines?

I assuming you mean instead of jets? because it would be a nightmare to try and balance. Also Mainly designed for low gravity, non-atmospheric environments.

My mining operations are too high gear and too standardized to make practical use of this, but it is undoubtedly cool none-the-less.

Oh yea, I finally figured out a slightly more stable Guppy design, I'll post it over in your thread.

My mining operations I like having fluid and flexible.

yeah, it's totally not practical. Functional, but not practical. Made for people that want to Harvest kethane in style. :)

I've a nasty habit of building infrastructure to support something that isn't practical. Kinda like the US military.
