Advice and opinions please, on what I could do with this

Recommended Posts

Hi

I built this space station core, and launched it into Munar Orbit using a N-1 booster from the Soviet Pack mod. I am wondering, could it go to other planets such as Eve, given I still have 2 stages attached, one of which has 1/4 fuel left and the other is full. For thos of you that have used the N-1, Block G is 1/4 full and Block D is full.

Does this thing have a docking port so you can add fuel or are you stuck with what you've got?

The only thing needed to get to any other planet is sufficient fuel to generate the necessary delta-V with whatever engine you're using. Then you'll need some more fuel to get captured there, and some more to get back home again if you want to. But anything with an engine and sufficient fuel can go anywhere. Check out the Delta-V Map on the Wiki to see how much delta-V you need for a given destination.

I also used a Mir station core on a N1 to go to minmus, I lost the encounter and got back into a high kerbin orbit. when I staged the L3 complex broke in half because of stress from the Blok D on the LK I was planning to use to land there , I used the cores RCS jets to finish the burn back then did a powered landing of the core space station part and saved all 6 crew members.
