XWB from an A350-941.

Ahh... now that solved my wondering of where did the 4-wheel bogie and ridiculously high bypass ratio came from.

Swap the Trent 900s on the A380 with the -97 of this bad boy and it can carry a Space Shuttle on its back. Or give a circular cross-section behind the cockpit, then lower it and you'll get a Beluga A380.

what's this engine?(a soviet one obviously)

Deddly is right.

But a point interesting to mention: it is still the most powerful liquid rocket engine ever conceived. The F-1 holds the record of the most powerful single room engine, with 677 MN at the sea level, while the RD-170 is rated at 726 MN (but with four rooms).

Which made me curious why did Squad made the Kodiak significantly weaker than the Mastodon for Making History.

KSP's Kodiak is based not on the RD-170 that powered Energia, but on the RD-107/RD-108 family of engines that have powered the R-7 missile family including Sputnik, Vostok, Luna, and even the current day Soyuz.
