The Life of a Kerbal

Hey guys, I have been playing some of the career mode, and I have decided to write down what the Kerbals have done each day. This is also a small hint as to what I've actually done in KSP so far!

Part 1 is in writing, it will be up ASAP!

Oh, I am not that geeky with rocketry, so nothing about this will be accurate, it's just for a bit of fun

Day 1 - Jebediah Kerman

Well, I decided that today is the day that I start my brand new journal. Today we started

the new Program, which looks more promising than last year! We have built the new

pods and basic propulsion systems, but ha no liquid fuels to use for our first rocket...

Luckily we had the wonders of solid fuels, so we whacked a booster on a pod and

thought it would be a great idea to throw onw of our "disposeable units" in there to

see how reliable this is!

This is a small extract of what happened...

Mission Control: "We are all set and cleared for takeoff, how's the situation

inside the pod Camrose?"

Camrose Kerman: "All systems clear for takeoff, it's a little bit cramped in here!"

Mission Control: "Noted. Alright, all prepare for launch!"

"Five"

"Four"

"Three"

"Two"

"One"

"LIFTOFF"

"Current velocity is 200m/s at T+ 5 seconds"

"T+ 10 seconds and at Mach 1"

Camrose Kerman: "Uhhhhhh... Getting a little shaky in here!"

Mission Control: "Mach 2 and still accelerating"

Camrose Kerman: "Getting hot here guys!"

Suddenly a large explosion was heard coming from the craft and everyone panicked

Mission Control: "Camrose, it seems that you have gone a bit too fast, your parachute

has been destroyed... Unfortunately you have no way of getting down..."

Camrose Kerman: "Oh... Okay then, good knowing you guys!"

Mission Control: "How are you feeling in there?"

Camrose Kerman: "It's a bit more comfortable to sit in, seats are nice!"

Mission Control: "Ok, would you EVA for us now to see what it's like outside the

atmosphere?"

Camrose Kerman: "Yeah, looks pretty cool up here, I'll record my findings and transmit

them"

Mission Control: "Data received, now we have completed this mission, sorry about the

failure"

Camrose Kerman: "Don't worry about it, I'm helping with the Program, maybe even help

with when the whole Kerbal race needs to evacuate one day!"

And we all watched him fall back to Kerbin, while silently crying...

So that marked the end of Day 1, we learned a bit about the new Program, and killed

a good mate, but we did it FOR SCIENCE!!!
