It would be really nice to know the dimensions of these figures. Without any sort of reference it's impossible to tell how big they are which is a rather important thing to know before you order them.

Not a big fan of merchandising. Especially the purely aesthetic kind. I might go for a mug or a shirt but not for action figurines.

I'm sort of in the same mind, but one way to look at it is further supporting the developers. I certainly have no qualms about dev houses hocking merch for a game I really, really like. (I came *this close* to buying an Aperture Science parking permit sticker for my car, but $20 was a bit much)

You might convince me to buy a Kerbal plush, though.

What I'd really like to see is a KSP rocket construction play kit. Something like LEGO only with KSP rocket/plane parts.

This was my tought when i saw planets as well.

I highly doubt they can stay as they are now. But then again this might just increase the value of the models... Its a beta Duna, man.

I want to buy a Kerbal or a planet but seriously, 50€ for a Kerbal? Waaay to overpriced. Sadly squad wont make any money because there is not enough demand due to the scaring prices. Plz squad, you will get at least some profit if you lower the price, so people will actually buy the products. Sad Kerbal

From what I understood there is not much margin here. 3D printing is still very expensive and these figurines are made to order (which makes them extra special! )

As to rocket part prints I imagine since new parts are being added (and old parts modified) that any print of the rocket parts could be rendered obsolete by the time the game is actually in full release.

Why choose expensive 3D printing? No sane person will spend 50€ on a Kerbal. They could start small production and significantly make the cost lower. Also since the price will drop everyone will afford the kerbals and planets, and there will be the supply required. But apparently SQUAD never studied economics(not an insult).
