This has potential, however I can't help but think that it would be impossible to cram two people side by side into a pod that is 1.25m wide. In fact, it would be difficult to cram one person into something so narrow, and even with their smaller frames kerbals would be way too big for that methinks.

And the FASA mod is kind of overkill.

I agree, but there are some absolute gems in there as well.

The Gemini and Mercury Capsules, the Big G... great IVA's aussi.

It seems to be working on my end. Is anyone else having trouble downloading? I'm thinking of finding a better/alternate site to host it from, if anyone knows a good ones I'd be happy to hear.

You are right 1.25 is too small for two kerbals side by side, but that's why my pod is slightly wider than that and yet still meant to fit on those parts.

It's cramped and needs a lot more love, but they do fit.

Isn't it possible to remove the centre console to create more room?

If you put two kerbals two close to each other, they clip into each others portrait, which looks really weird. So the gain in space from removing the console might not be that useful.

you're planning on making it more "Round" I hope(as its stockalike). But this is awsome in any case.

I would also kinda try and adjust the size, so like rather than be 1.25 in diameter, (or close to 1.25), rather like 2.00 in diameter, with liek an adapter to make it 2.50 or something.

Here is MFD panels from RasterPropMonitor, I didn't won't to rearrange many panels in IVA. I kept them close to the way the Orionkermin had them. I did had to move two panels around to get Rasters MFD to be somewhat centered.

You do need to be using Module Manager 1.5, most of us have it already from other mods:

Honestly, I wasn't a big fan of the textures. So I tried making my own.

Anyone like it? It still has some work to do. Also it needs a normal map, but I have no idea how to make one.

It looks great for stock-style textures! Yeah it does need a normal map. I am not good at making my own normal maps I usually just use CrazyBump for normal maps and other maps.

I learned how to make them in photoshop just as you posted this! So now it has a normal map. It still needs quite a lot of work though.

It's pretty much done now so if OrionKerman allows it then I can release it. Anyway I have a sudden craving to texture more things! I wonder if anyone needs help...

I don't mind if you release it. :sticktongue: Just don't release outside this forum please.

I've been working on the exterior of the pod quite a bit myself. I removed the hatch on the back, as I was never really happy with it. So now it's up front and eventually I'll add a model for it in the IVA. I also rounded out the bottom of the model more.

I'm working hard with the little spare time I get right now. I'm hoping to release an update after .23 comes out and I verify that the part still works. Well back at it!

When you do the new IVA and need help do the props for the interior, I can volunteer to do them for you. Just PM me anything for help.

Looks great! Finally somebody gets up to the challenge of doing a stock-alike 2 man pod. U da bawz, brah.

I think you should tilt the windows a bit more so we can get a better IVA view of our surroundings. Like this:
