What is The Plane Challenge?

The plane challenge is where you create your own plane, and try to beat everyone else\'s! Try to get the longest ground distance to the top of the leaderboard. You can also show us pictures or video of your plane.

Rules

1- No using mods or editing files. 'Stock' only.

2- Your plane must reach a minimum of 10,000 meters high, and a max of 20,000 meters

3- The kermans must reach the surface safely

4- You can only be on the leaderboard once at a time, but you can submit a new distance as many times as you like. New submissions will remove your old ones.

You must include a picture of your flight results to be put on the leaderboard. Make sure your highest altitude and ground distance traveled are viewable in the screenshot. This screenshot must be taken when your kermans have safely landed.

What do you mean by 'try to beat everyone else\'s'?

If you meant by distance traveled while still in the atmosphere, then too late - someone did it before already, and yes - he flew around Kerbin.

I can fly pretty good distances without C7, I\'ll do a video when I have time, of course, it is a slight bug exploit though.

Well, you\'re trying to build a plane that flies farther than other people\'s. And that thread is much different than this one. That thread uses mods, this one doesn\'t.

I don\'t mind giving this a try. I always wondered if the stock canards could be used to create an interesting rocket-based aircraft with good efficient gliding properties.
