Inverse Piggyback

Recommended Posts

Right, this one\'s simple. *clears throat*

We\'ve all seen the piggyback or shuttle rockets out there; a rocket or spaceplane brings another spaceplane high into the atmosphere, where it can enter orbit under its own power.

My challenge to you is this: Build a spaceplane that brings a rocket/munar lander into orbit!

All you need is a lifting body version of an Energia and viola, big fat rockets to orbit!

Or take inspiration of the TX heavy transporter from Orbiter. That one was just an XB-70 style hypersonic craft with a hardpoint on the dorsal section for... just about anything you can think of. I\'ve carried large spaceplanes, rockets... ICBMs, on that thing.

Here you go. Use this. Put whatever you want under it. It will probably fly. Knock yourself out.

I also made a smaller plane that drops a munbase. Talked all about it in another challenge.

might do it. :D

EDIT:

This one might do, if only I can somewhat compensate to its poor handling
