More than 360 degrees of Longitude??

So I happened to see this while looking at my surface display on Engineer:

I watched it go around a few times. Instead of going from 0-180-0, or even 0-360, once it hits 0, it rolls around to 490 every time. Is this a problem with Engineer, or is it game-wide? I'm a bit flummoxed as to how there can be more than 360 degrees.

I think it's game-wide. I had a flag planted at such longitude.

It's probably a problem with engineer (which broke with the newest version). If it was game wide there'd be a lot more wrong than just the numbers...

And of course, depending on the coordinate system used, there's nothing wrong with having more than 360 degrees. In engineering sometimes people calculate in 400 degrees as it tends to cause less floating point calculations, then translate the result back to a system with 360 degrees in the end.

It's a bug that comes up every now and then, and not just with mods. I had a lander on Duna whose coordinates (hovering with the mouse in map view) were something like so-and-so north and 500 degrees west.
