Round these parts, the most infamous stories start with the famous last words:

Heh, watch this! Here, hold my beer...

About 10-15 years ago, "watch this" were the last words of a new chopper pilot (to another news chopper pilot flying some distance off) in Miami

He then proceeded to climb a such a drastic angle that his tail (and therefore, tail rotor) were sliced off by his main rotor.

There were of course, no survivors.

Was launching a rocket with a rover the other day. I was going to show my sister's boyfriend me dropping some empty tanks (asparagus staging in a nutshell).

Me (thinking): "Time to drop the empty tanks"

Game: "Let's drop all the tanks"

Wasn't my last staging accident.
