What's your dream job?

I sort of did my dream job for almost 10 years. I won't tell you what it was because most people either wouldn't believe me, or would tell me I was some kind of fascist baby killer. It was a lot of fun, but gave me PTSD in the end...

So I'm going with my original option - President of an outlaw motorcycle club :)

I would like to be a Marine Navel Architect. I want to build a SSBN, but twice as big. This would make room for the entire front half of the bow to open up, and revile a flight deck used to take of jets. Like a huge, nuclear powered I-400 Japanese Aircraft Submarine. It would have the biggest dang American flag possible painted on the side.

Also, Sid, 10 long years in.... either 'Nam, Iraq, or Afghanistan?

Also, Sid

I'd like to know how you are going to keep this SSBN of yours quiet, I'm really interested in sub technology.

Last time I did a psychometric test, along with "systems analyst", the top choices it gave me for appropriate employment type was "Air Traffic Control officer".

I honestly don't know if I would like a job where I spend every single minute of every single day praying to Jeebus that I don't make a minor mistake that costs 1,000 lives.

So yeah, some kind of job where I'm "the IT guy" for a SME would be nice. That or running my own IT-related business. Kinda depends on which one gives the highest money:work ratio I guess.

Dream job..... build and test space suits for ILC dover or the others .

Or better yet be a diver for the neutral buoyancy tank .. I am a advanced diver after all :)

Right now I am a EE for a firm in the area . I also work in the College Optics lab on LASERs .

Pilot!

When I'm flying with my dad (Piper Cub, mostly) there is just some sort of feeling. It's really hard to describe, but i feel home when I'm in the air.

So, pilot would be the perfect job for me. I just hope my eyes won't get worse, because I already have glasses and my correction is getting near the limit for commercial pilots.

But I think I surely will find a flying-related job :)
