What happened to Jeb?

So, somehow in my second career save, it says Jebediah is lost, and the description for what happened to him is "missing in action". What happened?

That's the polite way of saying that he got smooshed somehow. Did you crash a ship?

You may have ended a flight with him in it, without knowing exactly what you've done in this save it's impossible to say for sure.

Well I noticed a lot of my guys missing after my game crashed from a hell kraken.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but Jeb is just a regular kerbal on steroids. You can just get another one

If you wait long enough he will show back up (Unless you've disabled respawn)

Jeb clone himself for multiple-times, so even, he is easily kill, but, impossible to lost. (Same for his buddy too).

Thats 1 of the reason why, Kerbalkind get rocket with man mission 1st before they get the satellite remote control mission.

You will see him back in no time.

If you wish him back immediately, you can go back to the persistence file and edit it. Delete the mia record, and, if memory serves me right, Change STATE = 3 to STATE = 0

Copy first... But I did this before when one of my favs was missing in .22

Check out mission log (F3) if Jeb's mug suddenly disappears from lower right corner. In early launches I managed to whack him on launch by using whole bunch of SRBs (well, at least TWR was good) =\
