What is the absolutely first game you remember playing?

I remember getting an original Xbox when I was around Fivish to Sixish, I had two games I played constantly and the first two I remember playing, Test Drive Offroad (I think) And Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom, I still play Spongebob for Nostalgia.

It was either Super Mario Bros on the NES, or Wolfenstein 3D. That time frame (3 years old) kinda blends together.

They both have since defined by taste in games. (IE, great degree of freedom, with a touch of realism)

Either Pokemon Silver on GBC or Bubsy 1 on SNES. I still have working copies somewhere (Partially pokemon silver, the battery ran dry a while ago).

Back in the day when you loaded everything from tape, and waited at least five minutes for a game to load. Consider that the next time you're waiting for KSP to load.

Really it depends on whether or not my dad had his palm pilot before 1999.

Since I was born in 98, I didn't get to enjoy much of the golden game era

First game I recall playing was Lego Island, my aunt still has the same copy, might try and get it to run again.

Tic-Tac-Toe on a Digital PDP-8 mini computer way back in 72. It was a very powerful computer with a whopping 6k bytes of memory which was a step up from the 4k it came with as stock, a teletype for output, and used punched paper tape to store program code.
