Oh noe, pony has attacked me.....

He attacked me one time, lost more soldiers than me, I sold one of two oil wells and bought another barracks. He only has 4,000 troops, I'm going to try to match that.

Having all these troops is really hitting hard on the income...

I bought myself some time by lying to him, I said I'll give 350 oil to stop this war, he said sure thing...

And do you ever think that our enemies look at this forum? There's a link on our Alliance page.

Wow, just saw this thread for the first time. Not entirely sure of what it's like, but I must give this game a look.

Yes! Growing and maturing your nation and providing us with additional working stiffs human meatshields proud citizens and valiant defenders of home and country.

Aight, I registered. Looking at where to setup shop. Has everyone in the Alliance chosen a similar geographic location/government system/etc? If not, I'm moving into Northern Greenland (because I'm insane like that) and starting an autocracy (the same reason I have for starting in Greenland).

A different geographic location is best, lets us specialize in producing different things. Greenland, North America area gives you Coal, Iron, and Uranium, which puts you in a good position to manufacture steel, so you can manufacture vehicles and some buildings more easily.

National color gives you a certain bonus to national income based inversely on how many nations are invested in that color. You need to pick the alliance color to get any benefit when in an alliance, green for United Kerbals.

Not sure how government affects stuff, tax rates? What you think? I'm Democracy, Socialist with avg tax rate 33% for comparison

Seems documentation on it is pretty limited (maybe that's intentional) or it's strictly a roleplay element. In the Q&A section it states that economy doesn't actually do anything. It used to, but everyone hated it, so now it just remains as a 'title.'

On Government: "Alliances are eligible to compete for bonuses, and some of the bonuses apply to nations that are in the alliance and have the same government type as the alliance has chosen."

But... for the purposes of this game, having a Democracy would be overkill. Partially in keeping with my namesake on these forums, and trying to do something that feels like the Kerbalverse... inspired by recent events in the World War K series on Youtube,

C0mputer L0rd, Mechjeb, ruler of Arctania, stands ready to serve.
