I would like to propose an expedition to the Foundry orbiting Minmus by a B9K-controlled probe to analyze the objects produced by it rapidly and efficiently. The probe would assume an orbit with the same SMA as the Foundry, but would maintain a general position either A: behind it, B: in front of it, or C: in a pseudo-orbit of it.

Seems like a good mission plan- but Jeb is already on his way out there. Maybe he will rendezvous withe the probe and then with the artifact?

Scratch that, engineers blew up world, loading backups.

There is a link on the hot rockets forum to a guy who wrote module manager cfg files for the kw engines. I don't have an exact link, but you should be able to find it.

Ahhhh... i tried to do the kwrocketry, but i can only find one thing that adds fx for one engine, and i don't really know where to even place it. :/

Just a little thing I did when I was testing paramecimkid's jumpdrive.

(if you are interested, it uses ALL YOUR ELECTRIC POWER, and only works in same SOI)

To test it- I built a torch-ship!

(Disclamer- it did not accelerate the whole way anywhere, but it could accelerate at 7.5gs, so it was a bit overpowered.)

Had to boost because my periapsis suddenly dropped into the planet- speed upon entering: 20 km/s

Hitting the atmosphere was like hitting several walls though a wall factory- 20 g of deceleration for several seconds.

With it's speed halved, the Hyena is on an escape trajectory "up" Out of the kerbal system.

Time to test the Jump-Drive!

I left a beacon-equipped station in Kerbin orbit, and I planned this so that the station and ship have a clean line-of-sight for the travel.

Almost ready!!!

Nothing happened. And my only fuel source- electric charge- got drained completely.

Oh, and my trajectory? It is now the direction I was pointing, at the speed I was going- so escape velocity out and away from the sun.

It took a 5-minute burn to set the orbit so it would orbit back to kerbol.

Definitely solar sails. Solar wind in the Kerbol system has to be MUCH stronger than in our system, so I'd think that they'd be much more effective.

B9k2: Also the ability to deconstruct vehicles on the nanotech level.

B9k1: There are tons of vehicles this thing can construct... We are going to need some specialists to help start filtering and understanding these plans.

I really like these. I have no idea why SasquatchM would not make them more public releases, but hey- I found them, so they work.

(I was going to have Solar sails be used at one point, but I cannot seem to find the minimum files necessary to make the part work. Oh well.
