Quick question: Who would want to see a NASA ribbons pack with irl awards?

i have made one, but I’m just wondering how many people would use it.

Sorry for necroing btw

I'd be curious to see that. Those could be fun additions!

And for a game that's been out for as long as this, and with mods themselves being older than many people's pets, the concept of 'necroing' doesn't really apply here. That warning message is set for *way* too short a span, IMO.

on top of that, I'm considering making it a full-blown operation to include every U.S. government/DOD award.

That includes other agencies, like the CIA, FBI, USPHS, etc.

Also included would be department of defense agency ribbons, e.g. millitary ribbons

FF doesn't correctly count days for JNSQ, which has 12-hour days.

You might want to ask in the JNSQ thread to see if the planet pack adjusts this.  It sounds like a simple MM patch is needed.

Brigadier has it right - if you're using the version of Kronometer that is included in JNSQ, then days will not be correct - there's a patch in the most recent pages of that thread which fixes it.

I think I was mistaken - I was remembering the Kronometer fix, not FF. I'm actually surprised FF is doing any kind of date/time calculation to begin with.

Oh, so there's no way to get FF to display JNSQ days?

Not unless someone rewrites the code. I looked in FF's utilities folder in Nereid's Github, and the Kerbin day and year are hard-coded. Basically, it works correctly if you're on 6 hour or 24 hour day (Kerbin or RSS), but it doesn't work for JNSQ or any other system using a non-6/24 day or a non-standard year.

While FF seems to work mostly okay in 1.12, I did run into one game-breaking issue with GPP. It seems that in my current save, it reliably starts spamming the log with lines similar to the following, and freezing the game:

[LOG 21:08:18.718] FF: kerbal status change: Nevan Kerman from Available to Available at time 27174758.4321371
[LOG 21:08:18.718] FF: hall of fame refreshed
[LOG 21:08:18.719] FF: kerbal added: Bill Gaelan

Full log file, and list of mods, here.

Edit: Apologies, turns out FF is probably not causing the freeze. It still occurs after it has been removed. Still, perhaps knowing that it spams the log so much in this situation would be useful.

So is this truly working? I am reading mix things.

The best way to find out is to install it and see.  Everyone has a different mix of mods, and no one can tell you if there's some odd interaction in your mix that no one has run into yet.

Of course, make a second copy of your install and try it there, first.
