If you don't know, it's an old TV show which is a twisted take of "good guys doing good things" where the entire crew of the stolen ship "The Liberator" are criminals. And it's about space. And awesome. And more awesome. Watch it.

I watched Blakes 7 when it was shown on TV, the first time around.

Even for the time the special effects were lousy, I remember the talking computer ( Oric, Orac ? ) looking like a milk bottle crate filled with Christmas tree lights

Yeah, haven't seen it since it was first on myself. Don't remember much, except that they had to put bracelets on to teleport. Because only the properly accessorised enjoy the benefits of instantaneous transportation.

The crew get all the good stuff, and yet stuff still goes wrong.

I'm halfway through watching, got it downloaded from someone who had watched it all those years ago. Orac does look like a box full of lights, but definitely has function more than twice that.
