Munar 13 - A beginners rocket to get to the Mun and back

I present Munar 13 mk2. a 0.13.2 version all stock parts rocket with enough fuel/power to get you to the moon with excessive fuel allowing for mistakes and issues to be corrected without worrying about running out of fuel.

I tested it last night and was able to make it to the moon with plenty of fuel left in the orbital stage where I was actually using it to land but jettisoned it at the last min since Its long and probably would have crumbled on touchdown.

With that stage disconnected, I was left with 1 engine and 6 tanks of fuel to play with. This will allow you to either land and hop to other locations on the Mun, or play with orbital maneuvers.

It has SAS for launching until you drop the 3rd stage, and ASAS till the end. It allows for smooth control and the rocket is balanced and stable letting you maneuver without the rocket jumping all over the place.

Hope you enjoy it, Leave me some feedback if you wish!

Anyone have any feedback? Likes/dislikes?

Im working on expanding my fuel lines and adding more thrust, I see the design being used as a heavy lifter to get resources into orbit. However lifting 20 or 30 fuel tanks and not using them on the way up will be interesting :D

Looks like a flying bomb to me. Can you still get to the Mun if you have, say, three full tanks left over once you\'ve jettisoned the orbital stage?

Lol its tested to be safe for beginners and not going to blow up :D

Ill have to test it tonight for the fuel consumption.

Tho If you drop your orbital stage you are left with 6 full tanks at that point and even if your in orbit with 6 tanks it should be enough to get you to the mun and back. The left over in the orbital stage is there to let you make mistakes and still have fuel left over for a mun/back setup.

blows up on the pad in 0.14.x4, probably more because of the experimental.. works fine on 0.13.2 and 0.14 :)

literaly tons of fuel, no problem messing about and still getting to the moon with 5 cans left after impact... yeah.. well.. the landing legs didn\'t agree with my flying style.. they might be a little flimsy for a beginners craft :) otherwise.. nice rocket :)
