Obsolete mods

It seems that upcoming update and nasa pack will make few mods obsolete.

Like joint reinforcment (thought we still dont know how effective will be new new joint system), fasa aseroids, mission controler, maybe some rocket packs like KW or Nova. Well pople will still use these two, but they will be less popular since stok will have its own ~3m class o parts (or 5m?).

There were many mods like these before, at least i heard about them. Docking mods, rover mods, plane mods.

Do you miss some?

Subassemblies! .. damnit.. took me forger to think of it lol.

As far as "obsolete" mods go I like to think that mods like MissionController and Asteriods would shift to expanding the new stock features. I'm not sure what Malkuth has in mind for his MC mod and .24, but its very possible that combined together could be a great experience. And iirc .24 is NOT adding budgets/money.

I'll almost guarantee you that KJR will still be needed for RSS applications, even if it isn't needed for stock.

Mission Controller might stick around because some people will prefer a more rigid sort of progression rather than SQUAD's contracts (which sound pretty loose).

KW and Nova will not go away because, at the very least, they add new models that provide a different look than stock.

What the next few updates and the NASA pack will do is give those kinds of things to pure stock players.

.24 is definitely adding money, since you will receive it from contracts. Budgets are another matter.

On the topic, KW and Nova were already fairly redundant alongside Stretchy Tanks.
