You're a bit limited on Macs I'm afraid, especially if those games can't have any violence or warfare.

Keep an eye out for Humble Indie Bundles; they are usually Mac compatible every time. There are so many titles that have been released in various genres, you're bound to find something you'd like.

One that immediately comes to mind is Osmos: it's very space-like with mass physics, orbital paths, delta-v, everything you need to consume a solar system 8)

If by "space warfare" you mean stuff like Eve Online, that's clear enough. Let me suggest some other kind of games to tide you over until the right thing comes along.
