My AN-2. Engine needs to be beefed up a bit and there are quite a few mod parts in there, including some I custom-made (resized). Wings need some work too, but overall I'm pretty happy with it. FAR loves it...

Haven't yet made a version that works.Only tested with FAR.

And a missdrag i see now is that the wings are pointing backwards instead of slightly forwards.

Here's another one.I was always bad at art, but i think i'm getting better at this procedural gimmick.

A Messerschmitt Me 309, with a damned ~130 parts.Could've went around and made a better, slimmer tail, but that would probably added an extra 100 parts.

Tried to keep it real, the engine provided by InfiniteDice's Ice was a Daimler-Benz DB605.The Me 309 was to use the DB603, but it wasn't too much of a problem.I don't know if the supercharger was two-staged, so that wasn't activated.Everything is as it should be, mass is indeed around 4t, maximum speed in game is lower though, being 700km/h at 8km.

Also, FAR really seems to have a problem with procedural structures formed by wings.If anyone has a fix for that, i'll greatly be thankful because the main objective was to make a Me 609, but that wouldn't be possible without procedural wings.

So, here is the stripped version, because FAR hates procedural wings, as i said.

These are my attempts at the famous SR-71 blackbird. Not 100% accurate, but the speed..... Pulls of Mach 3 at 30,000M (90,000ft)

I have a not so quick fix you could try.

Duplicate your P-wings cfg file, alter it so it has a different name instead of the ProceduralWing2 as in this section.

PART

AND HERE-title = Mark2 - PWing

Name it what ever you would like, like procedural structure or something like that.

And then drop the FAR aerodynamic model from it, and remove the

deflectionLiftCoeff = 0.5

Section.

Then when you go into the game, open the FAR setting window, and set the renamed sections to the correct sections in FARs options.

Do this in sandbox first to make sure the parts are there and they dont wipe out your original pwings. They shouldn't as long as you keep the cfg file in the same folder and dont change anything but the name in the lines mentioned above.

FAR doesn't like it when you use Wings as structural panels.

duplicate your pWing config; change the name; change module = to Part instead of winglet; remove the stock drag settings; replace the FAR control surface module with FARBasicDragModel

that will give you a panel that can be used as strutural piece but isn't completely drag-less. Not perfect, but okay for reasonable stuff. It also means you can build a giant cube without much negative effect from drag.

Had a go at a P.1154 too - think I might revisit it as soon as a decent VTOL mod pops up, the B9 bits are still a bit too broken to work properly with my other 5,000 mods ;)

I love the stock models or those that are copies almost 1:1 with layers and layers of wings but for me it is impossible to make, I do not have the ability or the PC. :blush:

I will not bother with pictures of all my planes, if you are interested I have all my work HERE.

From that post I put pictures "blueprint style" instead of videos, but previous models may have an image in a spoiler if I modified and are different than shown in the video (Like the Triebflügel and KM).
