Hello @Ginlucks

Research is a beautiful thing.  Just one on page 129 (just one page behind) I had posted the following:

1- Install a fresh version of KSP v 1.2.0 or 1.2.2 without any other mods.

2 - Install KSPRC v 0.7 Pre Release 3

3 - Delete the following Add-ons that KSPRC v 0.7 Pre Release 3 installed:  Texture Re-placer, Environmental Visual Enhancements (EVE), Scatter, Korpernicus, Kopernicus Expansion, Distant Object Enhancement and Planet Shine

4- Download and install the latest version of the following Add-ons/Mods that work with KSP v1.2.0 or above:

5- Run KSP v1.2.0 or 1.2.2 with only KSPRC and test if it works now.

Alright. I've done all of this. Slight problem though... Everything except for Kerbin, Eve, Jool, and Laythe is gone. I'm going to check each of those mods individually, but I do not claim to have any expertise in mod troubleshooting or anything, so I'll need help from someone. Needless to say, it's quite literally game-breaking.

here is the link: xxx

from the instructions it seems to be just a repack, so no offical release.

removed link due to licensing issues.

That violates the All rights reserved license that AVP v2 has. I would remove that link. AVP beyond kerbal is a completely different pack than the one you linked anyway. beyond kerbal was a visual pack that was never finished by astronomer

got you.
Thanks for pointing that out, I didn't know.

The person that packaged the mod and posted it on spacedock is also in violation. I think they have been contacted.

@Benti

Edit: this has been brought to my attention.

from the license of AVP v2:

"The licensor permits other to create and distribute derivative works, but only under the same or a compatible license.

The licensor permits others to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work for non-commercial purposes only."

Looks like the repackage of AVP v2 is good to go.

Nhawks17 had messaged me earlier about my violation, which I was expecting, as the license for AVP varied from place to place and I may have misunderstood it. I thought of pointing out what Galileo had, but I did not want to cause a skirmish of some sorts over this.

you are good. We acted a little hastily. Astronomer is very serious about his licensing (I know first hand) just be very careful with his work.

Ok, I've found out that if I remove the Kopernicus folder from gameData, then the clouds appear back.
But I loose all the beautiful Hi-res Texture of the planet...
Any help here?

Does anyone know how kopernicus is affecting the presence of the clouds?

Thanks in advance.
