Anyone around here plays Aurora?

Aurora:

Its a 4x game and it is described as the Dwarf Fortress of the 4x genre.

It is very complex. The UI is minimal to say the least, but it is a very a deep and engaging game.

Almost all equipment has to be designed.

I've looked at it, but I need a good guide. It's the space version of DF in complexity, basically.

Alright, umm... the official main page being a forum was sort of disheartening. I was expecting a title page. Where's the "About" section and the trailers?

From what I gather, it was basically started by a hobbyist to help with his own pen-and-paper games. He didn't exactly make it with the intent to "market" it to anyone in particular; it just sort of developed a fandom as time went by.

They do also have a wiki, if that helps.

That is also a good game, but for different reasons.

Never heard of it. But once I saw "Dwarf fortress in space" I was instantly intrigued.
