Biomes...how to find them??

Hi, yes i am a newbie, but have probably a silly question, how do you find the different biomes on planets and is there an easy way of being able to see them, like a map or some kind of layout thingy...please

No worries, buddy. check the KSP wiki biomes page.

It's got maps for the three bodies with biomes.

The mod VOID will show the current biome and situation, along with other info. There are biome maps on the wiki. If you have a biome-sensitive experiment you can spam it waiting for a biome change: good choices are a Kerbal on EVA (hold the capsules ladder!) or the gravity sensor.

I use MJ for this, I set up a landing target (although I do land manually) and when setting up the target it gives me realtime information on the target site, including the biome and terrain details.
