@Kartoffelkuchen What info you working off of from the way it looks your mixing a Atlas 3 in a Atlas 5 ? Has J-tk posted a Atlas 5.

I make a mistake pictures, I was looking at was hard to see but found some better one's all good my bad.

EDIT- Why do you have the throttle locked on the engines and the plum are expanding to fast you have them fully expanded in your still in Atmosphere there in expanded before you get to the upper Atmosphere.

No Problem. ;)

The throttle is locked because the real RS-27 engines cannot throttle at all, in fact not many engines, at least first stage engines, can do this I think. I want to give it a bit of realism, even it is the Stock version. I'll forward the situation with the FX to Dragon01. ;)

And the AJ-62 boosters are now in the game, I need to do Booster decouplers now, making the different Fairing versions (currently there are just 400 Large Fairing and 500 Medium Fairing done, but I can reuse models and textures, I just have to scale them in their height), the Nosecone for the HLV - Version of the Atlas V and some additional stuff like Centaur DEC and maybe even the Atlas Launch Tower, though I can't say if you'll really get one. :)

Did more play testing.

1. Whenever SRB's drop (no matter what configuration, or payload weight) the first stage TWR drops dramatically, using a lot of fuel to get back up to speed.

2. Subassemblies still do not work, probably due to a stock bug where if both nodes on the root part of a sub assembly are blocked, the assembly will not attach.

3. Second stage thrust seems low, it gets the job done, but slower than I'm used to.

Suggestions.

1. EELT should be able to attach to the Castor Decoupler, to make an alternate version of the Delta II Heavy.

Hm, I can't say it yet bjbeardse. :D When I'm finished with all the parts I will send it over to Dragon01, to do descriptions and the configs for engine ignitor and smokescreen. If it doesn't take too long, and he likes everything, we could end up with a release around next week, but it's really optimistic. But it shouldn't take too long anymore. :)

@DarthVader: These are only craft files, I do not recommend to make these rockets subassemblies. The root part on every rocket is the Avionics Module, and on every rocket something is on the Avionics Module, PAF or Turntable. You can remove the PAF on top of the Avionics Module, and also the Turntable, but you'd have to rebuild it when you want to use it. Also, you can't make long descriptions. These are all reasons why I'm just publishing the rockets as Ships. ;)

Boosters: I know that the TWR drops after seperation, but there's not really a good balanced alternative. And the rockets can lift their maximal payload capacity into an LKO, so it doesn't matter anyway.

Delta K: It has low thrust indeed, but it's already higher than the Thrust of the real one (it has 20kN thrust or so). And it makes possible to get into orbit without throttling the engine down, or cutti g it off. :)

And why can't EELTT attach Castor boosters decouplers to it??? It can! They are used in 6000 series. There was no "Delta Heavy" in the 6000 series, the Delta 7000 only has the Heavy version with GEM-46's.

Hi guys.

Got the Delta II mostly configured for Realism Overhaul. I know there are some issues with the GEM-40 engine configs, but it's mostly there. If anyone wants to play around with it before I try to push it to the main RO thread, let me know what breaks.

No, I'm sorry. You won't get it without his config overhaul. And since it is still not finished from my side, there's still a bit to do, you won't get it anyway. And while I'm working on parts, Dragon is working on configs, so it would take exactly the same time anyway. :) What's not good with his config?
