the post says it all. I feel my post was moved to an unrelated category. I see in general chat,,,,all things such as suggestions, mods, game play, yet mods don't move 95% from what I see. I post once just a fun little instance and I get moved to another channel with no notice????? How are the MODS calculating this? and I do believe this is pretty general.... SO KEEP IT HERE.

If a mod moved your topic he/she usually informs you in that same topic. To contact him/her simply click his name and select 'Private Message'

If there is no mod post informing you of the move just PM the mod you think is responsible.

Really, figuring this out yourself isn't that hard.

i would agree, just clarifying :)

(i too am guilty of starting threads in ksp general just so it gets more views, forgive me)

Yeah. Mission reports and live from mission control really don't get nearly as much views as GD. My KSP videos used to be a lot more popular when they were in GD :(

If people were more inclined to post in the lesser-used sections rather than flocking to GD for thread views, it is very likely that users will be more inclined to actually visit the presently lesser-used sections.

It's an "if you build it, they will come" scenario -- as long as people continue posting everything in General, that's where people will end up staying most of the time. I tend to actually avoid General Discussion half the time, just because there's so much irrelevant stuff there.

I go there when I'm bored, because there's almost always something to do -- even if that is just to relocate a misplaced thread. :P

It's more than that, it's a visibility problem with the sub-subforums. How many posts in Gameplay Questions & Tutorials would be easily answered if the user perused the Tutorials subforum?

IMO, both Tutorials and Mission Reports deserve their own top-level subforums.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
