Due to the quality of this MOD I am compelled to step back into this will and woolley world. Anyway here is an ultra simple personal orbiter.

1 - toggle oxidizer

8 - toggle cargo

9 - toggle docker

DOWNLOAD then press "Click here to start download from Sendspace"

Ok, I have downloaded this mod from all three locations on the first page. With each download and install my game crashes after the loading screen but before the main menu. Modulemanager is also saying the "Firespitter Plugin isn't compatible with .24.2 which i am running.

Im not running many plugins but maybe there is a compatibility issue with something i am using currently so here is the list: Kerbal Enhancer, Engineer, Advanced Navball, KWRocketery, MechJeb2, Navyfish Docking, Realchute, Modulemanager 2.2.0

Anyone else have this issue, or think they might be able to help?

Am I doing anything wrong? (if my history in KSP has taught me anything, probably I am)

The cargo bay, when snapped to the propulsion tank, doesn't seem to be in-line

It's got two attachment nodes, one for the bay and one for the payload. You've attached with the payload node, try reattaching it.

There are two nodes on each end of the cargo bay, you are getting the internal (payload) node. It can be a bit finikky but try moving the cargo bay slightly further away when attaching it to the model, give it a wiggle etc and you should get the other node to dock which will be inline.

Absolutely lovely mod, I always use your parts for my light spaceplanes and shuttles.

One request, though, do you think you could enable the RCS ports for the Mk2 cockpit nose? They look so natural there, it'd be even more awesome if they were functional...

They're not RCS ports. They were RPM cameras but they made Bad Things happen so were removed in 1.3. But yeah, they're not supposed to be RCS ports, despite them looking very much like them. I agree with you, by the way - it'd be nice to have some there. At least until Porkjet makes his own RCS blocks or something..

I tried and I still have the same problem. ;.;

This is important information to include in any support request:

  • Your KSP version
  • Your mods and versions (if any)
  • Your Operating System and version
  • Steps to cause the problem
  • Cause the problem, then quit KSP and find your output log:
    • Windows (32 bit): KSP_win\KSP_Data\output_log.txt
    • Windows (64 bit): KSP_win64\KSP_x64_DATA\output_log.txt
    • Mac OS X: Open Console, find Unity on the left side, and click on Player.log. It's also located at ~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log.
    • Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Squad/Kerbal\ Space\ Program/Player.log

Love these parts, very nicely done!

I had some issues using this with remote tech, the mk2 drone core does not require a connection, it always allows you to control the vessel it's used on.

After messing about a bit with the config files i found a solution, figured i'd post it in here in case anyone else has the same problem.

Put that in a .cfg file in either the GameData/RemoteTech2 or GameData/SpaceplanePlus directory and it should be fixed.

You have to double click in the farthest visible corner you can see, just like you can doubble click windows to move the camera closer to them.

AH HA! Thanks! FWIW, clicking the middle divider of the windscreen gives you view!

What do I have to do to the part files of SP+ parts to shift the attach point down so that they are compatible with the B9 MK

It's B9 that's off. It doesn't even line up with the stock parts that it's supposed to connect with.
