Why is Jeb scared of me? What did I do?!

So, my most recent Duna mission was going to plan... until Jeb refused to look at me to take his screenshot.

Here you see him walking sideways. Whenever I rotate the camera, he faces the exact opposite direction. What the heck did I press to activate this?

And how do I fix it?

Did you try exiting and reloading the save? Sounds cliche, I know, but it's the first step to determining if something can be fixed easily or not.

Try tapping ALT. (Or your mod key if not using windows.)

It looks like he's got his jetpack active (at least with 1 hand). If the game thinks he's flying, he'll always face away from you if you use movement keys. Try tapping R a couple times.

Ah, forget it. Unless he's still stuck like this on EVA next time he goes on a mission, it doesn't really bother me. Although, I did press literally every single key on my keyboard, and he was still stuck like that. It's weird.

It was a little tricky, but eventually I got him to stay still while facing the right way.

Where's the orange suit?!?!

I think something bizarre happened here. Why is it that in the screenshot in the above post, Jeb (because it was Jeb, after all) is wearing a white/silver suit, but in the one in this post, he has the orange suit? Do they always spawn in the white suit?

That should be fixed. Or added. It's confusing.

You get orange suits in the crew lists in the Astronaut Complex/VAB/SPH/Launch screen, and in the little pictures during the flight, but unfortunately in stock KSP they don't have their orange suits when on EVA.

I've had this happen, and here's the solution: Press T.

I used to think it was Alt, but perhaps they changed it. Either way, T changes "mode" for the Kerbal between "always face forward and strafe to go sideways" and "face whatever direction you're walking". Most likely you toggled this accidentally while driving a rover using a command chair, as was the case for me.
