[1.12.X] Tantares - Stockalike Soyuz and MIR [26.0][18.12.2023][Soyuz Revamp Again]

Some bugs:

old Fuji parts still in catalogue (aside from new capsule/heatshield) are referring to a missing texture from folder of the old pod. (no texture on engine, solar, orbital pod, etc etc etc)
Adding it back (just the folder and the texture, not the model/cfg) fixed the issue.
Aww.....

On another note, for all current and future IVAs, could you make the EVA & Crew transfer hatches separate props?
Possibly, I'm still waiting for the new shaders before starting any IVA work :)

Thanks!

Hopefully the next release will see the full release of re-vamped Fuji parts :)

In-Game.

Very useful parts, at the very least fun ready-made orbital tug.
I thought Queso was working on the ATV panels.
I did a decent first pass at them, but I ended up figuring out that I made them too small, and my texturing skills are nearly nonexistent, so I think it'd be best if Beale tackled them. I don't know why, but they just didn't look quite right. I gave him my setup in wings with an orthographic sketch in it, so it should be really easy for him to do if he puts a little time into it. He can do in hours what takes me days. Plus, I just don't have the time right now. I've had to take a step back from part creation and KSP in general. Still following what you all are doing though. :)

Ariane on the whole needs a little work, as well as a second stage. The textures are absolutely perfect, but the scaling is way off. 3.0m or 3.125m would work, but it brings us back to the off-sizes debate. Yikes. :P
Oh, God, almost page 1,000. Good job, Beale!

Anyway, please, please, please, make the ATV's second stage for the Ariane 5... That would be sick. Also some ATV panels? I know you overhauled it recently but you missed a few things. :P

Plus Ariane is long overdue for an actual second stage!
I think you mean 10,000 comments... :D

Out of curiosity, did the weight of the soyuz parts (CM/SM/OM) change on the most recent update? I'm having severe R7+Soyuz tipping-over problems again. Same problem as 2 months ago, if the attitude dot gets even one pixel outside of the little green direction-of-travel circle, then the rocket instantly tips. Tried dozens of combinations of altitude, speed, etc.

I've added some fins clipped into the tank of the "core" stage near the bottom, seems to have addressed the issue for the time being, but the COG issues remain - I'll do more experimenting with changing weights around, it shouldn't require extra fins to launch the showcase rocket of the pack. I'll report back if I get anything working without extra parts attached.

It's a bug with the 1.0.5 stock fairings if I understand correctly, they play with the COL in a crazy way.

Nothing I can do about it really.

ATV Panels / Ariane / ETC.

I'll get around to that eventually :)

As a vital component of the Sodruzhetstvo II mission was a bit past schedule, we decided to use the new methalox 1st stage of the N-IIU for something that was on the shelves for quite a while...

Zvezda 1!

Soyuz was pretty unstable and top-heavy even in 1.0.4. I'll try with the fairings provided by Contares

Hello Beale,

since the release of version 14 the "Tavio RD-01" decoupler lost.
It is troublesome to restore the old files with every update.
Please try to complete your update starting from the version 13.x.

Thank you and have a nice weekend
