Just a quick clean of N1 decouplers.

Surprisingly there was no 0.9375m decoupler, fixed now.

If you think that isn't enough, there is even a 0.625m part!

Let's get the show on the road!

kP65Mg6.png  "Take out the good old scootmobile and swing us around the front wont ya?"
kQe2gHD.png Good work Tomtrey, you could be a pilot one day.
tRCF8Ya.png A mysterious night launch, what did they send up?
cP3lXFg.png The chemical furnace module arrives just on time.
29QftYq.png Tomtrey prepares for a very long space walk.
Zhs9wVQ.png First task of the day, dispose of the RCS thrusters, we don't need those anymore.
1T0o3we.png Night sets in Tomtrey continued by bringing out the surface experiment package control unit.
S8edEnZ.png Third task, Tomtrey sets up... What else? A truss.
ts4yAvW.jpg All the monopropellant tanks are plumbed in along the truss, they can be jettisoned in one swoop when we no longer need them!
mGyZ53b.png The dorsal solar panel was destroyed by a golf-club (This actually isn't a joke, don't drop those KIS items too fast!).

Oh my! What's this?!

4000 units of liquid fuel! My God!

And it weighs 45 tons!

Oh no. I didn't think it would come to this, but...

BREAK OUT THE ENERGIA!!!

I3qMvMDGjEo.jpg

Oh man, nice craft and launch! Reminds me a lot of the 90ton MIR-2 modules.

Some new modifications to the N1 decouplers and modifications to the LK (thanks @Daelkyr ).
The nodes on the N1 decouplers have moved by 3cm (Sorry, could not avoid it), nothing will break for you, but you could notice minor clipping on existing craft, nothing extreme.

The red N1 decouplers will not stay one-direction decouplers for long, I plan on making them separators, to differentiate from the set of generic yellow decouplers we just got :)
Really, I am trying just to keep organised what we have in TantaresLV, without breaking any saves, for cleaner future development.

What future development? See below.

Hey @Beale, sorry to bug, but is it me, or does the 'Farshot' engine still have no fuel cell?

IMO though, I think monoprop fuel cells would be more useful than the normal run-of-the-mill biprop ones, as @CobaltWolf has them on Gemini :)

The most notable difference between the original Soyuz and LOK was the power supply system. Unlike solar panels which provided electrical energy for the 7K-OK spacecraft, the LOK would feature liquid hydrogen/oxygen-powered fuel cells, EKhG, similar to those used on the US Gemini, and Apollo spacecraft. In addition to generating electrical energy, fuel cells would output critically needed breathing oxygen and potable water as byproducts, thus greatly increasing spacecraft's life-support capacity.'

@Abrecan Try making this a .cfg file.

is it possible to just copy/paste this into the farshot .cfg?

Yes. Just the MODULE{...} stuff. You need to make sure to not add other brackets though.

@Beale If there's on part I'd love to see sooner rather than later, it would be a Soyuz/VA Launch Abort Tower. There are a lot of failure mods calling to me. :D

Soon soon soon! :) (For both)

Annoying I am kind of locked up with work recently.

It will be in next release, thanks @Daelkyr !

Great overhaul @Beale! You're getting better and better

Just updated my ISS

Hot dang that's a good looking ISS!  Which mods did you use?  And what does it look like when you de-orbit it?  xD

honestly I have to laugh at people putting ISS and MIR replicas in 100km orbits or similar. if you wanted to be really accurate, you'd set its orbit to ~55000KM, so you actually have to do regular missions to it and boost to keep it from falling out of the sky.

heh nah. I spend too much time using Timewarp for EL to add that management headache, unless I'm doing so deliberately.

also I'm running pretty close to the limit of my hardware with the number of scripts and widgets I've got loaded in.

hmm, I'll have to try a 55000km Salyut just for testing reasons- it's no good if it deorbits too quickly after all.

Tantares, CX Aerospace, Habtech, Community ISS and CST-100.

Deleted the old one and sent the new one up using the cheat menu, I'm a busy person you know :D

Why 55000km? Shouldn't it be 430 by 430 @ 53.1?

When I can't do a free-return myself, but it's okay because somebody else will :D
Beautiful craft.
