A Tantares early game expansion would be lovely. There isn't enough early payloads to make the early game interesting :) Sputniks, Lunas, early Veneras and Mars probes? Would be great to be able to design our own 50s/60s style Soviet probes!! <3 <3 <3

From a functional standpoint, definitely, though I feel as if it would look better if you were to bulk the capsule up a little.

Thanks that makes sense, a more fleshed out 2 seater would be better down the line.

For now I think Restock & Restock+ cover early things pretty well. We might revisit it in future.

Hey I cannot forget these guys! :)

I have played a lot with the LM recently, and the Energia LK is pretty similar design at a surface level so it's tempting.

But they're such lightweights! Suffice to say, in a world of 2.5 planets and 3.2 distances instead of a whole Vulcan they fit comfortably on top of a single Zenit.

Now this is what we call a sub-scale prototype :wink:

It is really growing on me. The orbiter and lander having a shared structure is appealing also.

Yes, in terms of TantaresLV it's the last major thing that needs to be revamped (And that includes the Blok-D).

Would you be opposed to increasing the size of the N1 so the top is 3.7m?  I think that would make the N1 more useful.  We could also use a 2.5m version of the Blok G.  I used Tweakscale to increase the sizes of the N1 and blok G and it looks much better.

Here it is in larger scale.  The total stack reaches the top of the VAB, just like BDB's Saturn/Apollo stack.

Correct size would be 3.4375m so that sounds reasonable.

This would leave the bottom size at 11.25m and the top of BlokV at 3.75m

The Modular Launch Pads v2 Soyuz Launch Base is now on my Github, in the AlphaDev branch. 

All the arms are integrated into the base, but soon there will be separate versions for greater adjustment range.

The gantry arm on the side of the ladder has the working crew elevator...now if there was only a way to board a Soyuz through the fairing... ;) :P

Thanks for that, I also got one from Zorg.

I needed a guide, as all the Soyuz tanks seem to be broken down into multiple bits, and I couldn't make sense of titles like "Tank 1 Size 1 A" and such :D

Now I can go into the .cfgs and rename them with the proper names :P

Okay so I got bored of the stock antennae and tried to work out how to make a RemoteTech patch. For now have done an extremely lazy job of it - just copied and pasted the stats of what looked at a glance like the closest equivalent antennae - but, ehh, it's better than nothing and they work now. Haven't done extensive proofreading/testing yet, so can't promise there are zero errors, but if anyone else is interested:

you can complement that patch with a %MODULE[ModuleSPU] {} for the command pods and while at it, add a MODULE[ModuleRTAntennaPassive] to them as well, you can simply copy the parts command pod antenna settings. If I remember correctly from the time I played with RemoteTech, you can configure an RTAntenna to not behave as a relay but I'm no longer know how to do this, I might be wrong though so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I made some RT patches a while ago, I can help you if you want. RemoteTach also has a nice guide on configuring parts for RT

When finished, you can also make a pull request on github :) . That would be very helpful
