You all knew this day would come...

Since July 13th, all those who actually acknowledge my obscure little mod's existence have been waiting for this day...

The day of release...

The day of 1.0...

The day of...

... The Tricolor Flag!

"The Tricolor Flag?" Yes, I know, it's a pathetic name, but there wasn't a Russian equivalent of "The Star Spangled Banner," so, erm...

(Excuse the sloppiness of the promo poster, I don't have the steadiest hand...)

INCLUDING:

3 command pods, with fully-functioning IVAs!

A set of modular fuel tanks and fueled adapters of the 1.875m, 2.5m, and 3.75m sizes!

A set of modular vacuum engines of 3 different sizes!

A set of modular decouplers of the 1.875m, 2.5m, and 3.75m sizes!

A revamped 1.875m heatshield!

And my pride and joy!

Let off the fireworks and grab it on Github!

(Also, I'm going on a week-long holiday with most likely no WiFi now, so don't expect instant responses if you ask any questions!)

Yeah the heatshield is separate now. (This will not break any existing craft!). The existing Soyuz is too short by the exact height of a heat shield (maybe I forgot to do something back in the day?).


This is kindof the best thing ever.

Any chance of service module skins with the matching-color stripe near the top like one of the older revisions had?

It sounds good! But, I am not exactly sure what you mean.

1- The heat shield will be a separate part, so it'll decouple

You could still do it Zarya-style without getting rid of the heatshield...

Ooo nice!  I had forgotten about that mod.  I'm just using the stock Seperatron solid motors with decreased thrust and fuel via tweakables.  I suppose I could DL this mod and do it the easy way :P

I actually did that at first when I was testing the motors and getting the tweakables right.  I'll have to add more rockets.

Like this, where the SM is two-tone and has a grey stripe on the "top" half matching the color of the capsule. Having more than one color of capsule is epic, but having the other 2 modules color-match the capsule will be double-secret-epic. ;-)

I will investigate how easy it would be to support decoupling the shield on both ends.

Speaking of shared textures, is @curtquarquesso still active? His Soyuz window (witch is a basic part of my Soyuz build) shared textures with your Soyuz, if not, I'll try to re-texture it once it's done

I still poke my head in here and check up on you guys fairly often. I've given up on running KSP until I have a Windows machine built for it. 

My interests have shift toward building spacecraft in LEGO. (though for what I've spent on LEGO over the past year, I could have built a decent machine instead...)

Yes, it works in x3.2. I use Sigma Dimensions and the Sigma Rescale Configs.

Textures can`t change yet. Beale add Texturechanging later when it will be a stock feature with the coming DLCs.

Should do okay in 3.2 and beyond hopefully :)

Balance is against stock parts but it is kind of fuzzy, generally 2-3 is perfect range for irl style payloads.

Textures switch: if you have Photoshop it's pretty easy actually (I need to write a guide soon).

When stock switching comes out I will do in-game alt textures
