Requirements:

KSP 0.25

Porkjet's Habitat Pack: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/64442

Raster Prop Monitor: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/57603-0-23-5-RasterPropMonitor-make-your-IVA-a-glass-pit-%28v0-16%29-20-Apr

Without this, you're stuck in the spacecraft with no TV, few instruments and nothing to do on a long trip wherever you're going. So running without it is not supported, too.

Requirements:

Porkjet's Habitat Pack: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/64442

Running without it is not supported (but it shouldn't break). Only the plugin matters, you can delete the parts.

screenshot1569.png

Jool V

http://www./download/dte3bj2u9gulpzu/JoolV.zip

An old, but still good 3.75m parts pack, roughly rebalanced to NASA mission pack. Had a full-on escape system before it was popular (it was always cool :) ). Also contains a number of adapters. Good lifting capacity, compatible with Kerbodyne parts.

HOME Legacy pack.

Need to diversify your HOME? Or perhaps you're just nostalgic? BobCat ind. refurbished a bunch of it's old modules and decided to sell them off. No warranty, but they're quite fun to use.

http://www./download/rh2g7g1h6jg18zh/HOME.ZIP

Contributing

Since this is a community project, you can contribute. Anything and everything is welcome. Submissions can be posted here, in the dev thread, or PMed to me. Any part of ISS, proposed or actually launched, can be accepted, as long as it plays nice with the rest of the pack. I'm open to late-concept Freedom parts, too, like a propulsion section for the truss. Resupply spacecraft can be contributed, too, but might end up released separately for logistical reasons, especially it coming with an LV. As this is a historical mod, purely fictional parts will not be added, though various concepts might. Improvements to existing parts (plugin support, IVAs) are welcome, too.

License:

Plugins are under whatever license the author intended. BobCat ind. will only distribute 3rd part plugins as a stopgap measure, they will be removed as soon as they're available normally.

All original BobCat ind. content - all rights reserved and belong to BobCat.

Community ISS is, by the spirit of the project, free to use, tinker with, redistribute and contribute to, as long as proper attribution is given for all the authors involved with a part in question.

Credits:

BobCat - almost everything, except the stuff below.

Asmi - Reentry burns (currently broken). Also ECLSS, though it's currently unsupported, it will work if you use it.

Dragon01 - config stuff, maintenance, balance and bugfixing.

BlazingAngel, Crashnburn, Chobit - previous BobCat ind. members, contributed a great deal towards previous versions of HOME.

Blista1000 - MIR DC, Rassvet.

Nertea - Zarya panel and ISS Radiator.

Yogui87 - Community ISS modules: Pirs, Poisk, Z1, JEM PM, JEM ELM, Cupola, MPLM. HTV spacecraft. Also, the showcase vid.

WCOLE360 - Also contributed to Leonardo MPLM.

Devo - Unity node.

Sorry if I missed anyone, remind me if this happened, so I can update the list.

Bug reports, fix suggestions, neat plugins to consider and other such stuff welcome. Model suggestions less so.

Future plans: The Community ISS Project might be released here, or not. The Soviet Pack updates will be released here (not soon). American pack probably too. If I manage to fix more old stuff, it'll be added. Any new stuff BobCat decides to make is, of course, subject to be added.

We're working together now, he's doing the fun part (modelling and texturing), I'm doing the less-fun part (configs, balancing, fixing bugs). :) There will be new content coming, now that BobCat doesn't need to do this all himself, he's regained some interest in KSP. I don't expect to have every single thing he's ever made (old Soyuz will not be supported, Cassowary is dead and gone. Mriya looks bad but might be fixable, we'll see), but if something can be made to work, it will. At least, until the plugins/modules break, though, unless Squad breaks something basic (seems unlikely at that point), it looks like old HOME is here to stay, at least.

Is the file supposed to be called HOME 2 or HOME 3 and to be honest there really aren't that many parts when I loaded up the game. I have all the required Mods in my gamedata file. It seems like something is missing. I will troubleshoot some more but you said sfr Command Pods was zipped in the file and that is not in the file you uploaded.

Edit: I found the sfr file, still seems to be missing parts though.

Edit 2: cH8pT8w.png This is the part folder no HOME 3 parts now I am sure I am probably doing something wrong and I am probably misunderstanding something, but I am just reporting what I see.

Maybe because Spaceport closed...you need the sfr plugin?

sfr plugin download link:

Found it , It was the homes folder was looking for a zip but it's not zipped and @Dragon01 the install needs to look like KSP/GameData/BobCatind/HOME2/ or some of the RPM's are

not going to work.

Edit and thanks CERVERUS but it was in there, I didn't see it at first.

The only RPM that doesn't work is the original HOME command pod

Me too the RPM doesn't work for the original HOME command pod. I probably messed up somewhere.

Last post of the night I noticed the Recon module doesn't work in the VAB. Obviously the Ant rover isn't updated and the the garage doesn't open in the VAB. It works in game but not the VAB.

Also Im not very clear on how to use the HOME 3 OS. Everything goes together well except for the OS. Is the OS supposed to sit on top of the HOME 3 parachute? Also instead of an engine staging logo for the OS its a decoupler staging logo.

I went to bed yesterday, just after reading that a release was imminent over at the ISS thread. This exceeded my wildest expectations, both in terms of AWESOME! and of how soon it was :D
